Victoria Leigh's Feelgood Favourites
Find out what are Heart's Drivetime presenter Victoria Leigh's feelgood favourites
1. First Gig: New Kids On The Block
My first gig was New Kids On The Block at Wembley with my best friend Natalie. I was about 13 and my poor dad had to take us because we weren't allowed to go on our own. I had a huge crush on Joey (McIntyre) and I honestly thought I was going to marry him. How cool am I?
2. Last Film I Loved: The King's Speech
I don't have time to go to the cinema. I have three kids and I honestly can't remember the last time I went to see a film for my own pleasure. The whole family went to see Cars 2 but I seemed to spend most of the movie taking my kids to the toilet. I've only just recently seen The King's Speech and I thought it was brilliant.
3. Actress Who'd Play Me in a Film of My Life: Jennifer Aniston
I would say Jennifer Aniston but ask my friends and they would say....
4. Actress My Friends Say Would Play Me Instead: Catherine Tate
...Catherine Tate! As the gran....go figure!
5. Favourite Place in the World: Cornwall
Can I go with the cliche and say home? I live in St Agnes in Cornwall and it is truly gorgeous. I've been lucky enough to do a lot of traveling and Australia and Thailand are both very special places to me. This year I'm putting Sri Lanka on my dream destination list
6. What I Would Spend £1m on: A Holiday to Sri Lanka
I'd probably book a holiday to Sri Lanka. We've just bought our dream house but it's a real project and labour of love, to put it mildly. So I'd set to work on restoring the house if I didn't go on holiday....
7. Pet Hates: Low Trousers
I'd give an automatic, on the spot fine to boys who wear their jeans so low you can see their pants. Pull your trousers up!
8. Favourite Album - Stevie Wonder's Talking Book
Talking Book by Stevie Wonder is a perfect record. It's rare to find albums that you want to listen to all the way through without skipping a track. This is one of those. Although so are Carole King's Tapestry and Air's Moon Safari. Can I have three please?
