Man Stabbed In Crawley

The 21-year-old was attacked by a man who came into the house in Church Lane off Crossways in Three Bridges in the early hours of yesterday.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex in Brighton.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: "The victim suffered slash wounds to his face and head and more serious injuries to his hand and shoulder.

"He is currently being treated at Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, for his injuries which the police say are not life threatening.

"A dark car was driven off at speed around the time."

"Chief Inspector Rosie Ross said:

"We believe this was a targeted attack and the victim was known by his attacker.

"We are working to trace the suspect but if anyone saw anything which might be able to help us with our investigation.
