21 Year Old Has Jaw Broken Outside Bar

Police in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an assault in the town.

The incident happened outside the Sixty Million Postcards bar on Exeter Road at around 3.20am on Sunday 4 December 2011.
 
The victim, a 21-year-old Verwood man, sustained serious facial injuries – including a broken jaw which required surgery.
 
Detective Constable Matt Manners, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I understand that two groups were involved.
 
“Both groups contained maleand female members.
 
“I would urge anyone who witnessed this assault, or has any information about those responsible, to contact police urgently.
 
“All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
