UPDATE: Homes Without Power In Bournemouth

A massive powercut left 2,600 homes in Bournemouth without power this morning (Wednesday 30th May).

Southern Electric say the problem started at around 6am. 

Homes around The Royal Bournemouth Hospital, the Queens Park area and Winton are most affected. Traffic lights were also out in the town -including at the busy Cooper Dean roundabout.

The company has apologised for the inconvenience, and blames a fault on the network. An investigation's now underway.
