Armed Robbery In Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an armed robbery at a chiropodist in Parkstone.

The incident took place at approximately 7.20pm on Friday 9 December 2011 at the Feet First chiropodist along Station Road. 
 
Two men entered the reception area and threatened a female member of staff with a handgun and pulled her wrist before making off with a quantity of money. A consultant and a customer were also threatened.
 
It is not known whether the weapon was an imitation handgun.
 
The receptionist sustained slightinjuries to her wrist but did not require medical attention. The other memberof staff and the customer did not receive any injuries.
 
Both men are described as being in their twenties and had their faces covered. 
 
Detective Constable Jonathan Sainsbury, of Poole and Bournemouth CID, said:“It is not known whether the offenders left the scene on foot or in avehicle. 
 
“I am appealing for witnesses,and anyone with any information about this incident, to contact police as soon as possible.”
