Bikes Worth £5500 Stolen In Poole
Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a burglary in the town.
The incident, in which unknown offenders forced entry to a garage along Cromwell Road and stole three high-value bicycles, happened between 7pm on Monday 7 November 2011 and 7.20am on Tuesday 8 November 2011.
Police Constable Billy Taylor, of Poole police, said:
"The values of the bikes are £2200, £1800 and £1500.
"The most expensive bike is a Scott CR1 road bike. The make of the other two is Giant – a Giant Anthem and a Giant XTC.
"I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this burglary, and anyone with any information about those responsible, to contact me as soon as possible.
"I would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered a Scott or Giant bike in unusual circumstances or for an unusually low price."
