A 25-year-old Bournemouth man’s been arrested and released on bail after two men were injured in a pub.
A man apparently threatened customers and assaulted two men at The Broadway along Castle Lane West during the early hours of Sunday, 3 July.
A 46-year-old Bournemouth man had his wrist broken in the attack and a 43-year-old man, also from Bournemouth, was injured in the chest.
Detective Sergeant Greg Tucker of Bournemouth CID said:
“I understand that a man entered the pub at around 12.30am and was asked to leave by staff as a result of his behaviour.
“This man returned to the premises at around 1am. It is at this time that a further altercation took place and that the two men sustained their injuries.
“I believe that there were a number of revellers in the pub during this incident and I am keen to speak with anyone who witnessed anything unusual or out-of-the-ordinary during the early hours of Sunday morning.
“Anyone with information should contact me – in the strictest of confidence – urgently.”
