Burglary In Weymouth

Officers in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a burglary in the Melcombe Regis area of the town.

It happened at around 12.15am on Sunday 11 November 2012 at a house just off Park Street.

The offenders forced their way through a ground floor window while the owner slept before making off with a Dell Inspiron laptop.

Police Constable William Taylor, of Weymouth police, said:

"I am appealing to anyone with information about this burglary to get in contact with us.

"This theft has caused great distress to the victim, and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area leading up to and during the time of this offence.

"Anyone with information is urged to contact Dorset Police on the non-emergency number 101."
