Cyclist Flashes Teenage Girls

A cyclist's exposed himself to three teenage girls in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police say it happened at around 6pm on Sunday 18 August in the park area near to the Shelley Manor Medical Centre on
Beechwood Avenue.

The victims, three 13-year-old girls from the Bournemouth area, were approached by an unknown man riding a pedal cycle who circled them numerous times while exposing himself.

The offender then headed off in the direction of Christchurch Road.

Police Constable Lewis Bailey, of Bournemouth police, said:

"This has been quite an ordeal for the three teenage girls and they have been left very scared and upset.

"I would ask witnesses and anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they might be able to assist with the investigation.

"The offender is described as a white man aged in his early twenties with ginger hair and freckles. He was wearing a black sports T-shirt with gold writing on the front and dark blue jeans.

"He was riding a black, silver and blue mountain bike.

"Witnesses should call Dorset Police on 101 in strict confidence."

No arrests have been made.
