Family Tribute To New Forest Crash Victim

The family of Joyce Frigot, who died following a collision on the A35 at Holmesley on June 17th, have paid tribute.

In a statement, the family said:

"Joyce was a lovely friendly lady who was full of fun and loved making cakes for friends and loved ones.
 
"She was a loving wife to Dennis, mum to Shane, Teresa and Sandra, nan to Matthew, Mary, Dennis, Courtney, Jamie-Lee, Joshua and Great Grandma to Lily-Rose.
 
"She was taken too quickly from us and will be sadly missed by all that knew her."
 
Mrs Frigot's funeral will be held at Bournemouth Crematorium on Tuesday July 3rd at 1.30pm.
 
Joyce, who was 61 and from Christchurch was pronounced dead at the scene of the head-on crash which involved her red Vauxhall Astra and a silver Vauxhall Insignia.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the collision, in particular the driver of a mid-to-light blue Volvo estate which was travelling along the A35 at Holmesley when the crash happened shortly before 10am.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sergeant Andy Lynch at Hampshire Constabulary's Road Death Investigation Team on 101, quoting Operation Armel.

A 52-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed until August 30 pending further enquiries.
