Four people have been arrested in drug raids in Bournemouth.

They were picked up in Winton on Wednesday after police searched a house and found cash and Class A substances – the drugs are being forensically examined.

Two women, aged 29 and 45, and a 34-year-old man, all from London, and a 44-year-old man from Bournemouth, were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.

Inspector Mark Callaghan, of Bournemouth and Poole Police, said: “Yesterday’s activities were a part of Operation Dismantle, an ongoing operation which aims to tackle the supply of controlled drugs and associated crime.

“This warrant was executed as a result of information from the community gathered over many weeks.

“It is essential that communities continue to tell us what is going on in their area so that we can tackle those issues that most affect local people.”

These latest arrests add to the 29 carried out last month as part of the same operation targeting dealers in the town.
