Have You Seen My Son?

Police in Poole are renewing their appeal to the public for information regarding the whereabouts of a missing West Moors man.

David Henry King, 48, was last seen at the Antelope Hotel Inn, along the old town end of Poole High Street, at around
12.30am on Saturday, 18 December 2010, almost two months ago.

David King, from the West Moors area of Ferndown, had checked into the nearby Thistle Hotel along Poole Quay during the
afternoon of Friday, 17 December and later left there to go to a Christmas party.

Detective Inspector Pete Little, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said:

“David has been missing now for seven weeks and this is completely out of character.

“We know that he attended the Antelope public house in Poole on 17 December for a works Christmas party. A number of his colleagues remember seeing him at the end of the evening.

“It would appear that David never made it back to the hotel.”

Annie King, mother of David King, said:

“If anyone saw him later that morning – he would have been making his way to the Thistle Hotel where he had an overnight booking.

“I appeal if anyone did see him or gave him a lift out of Poole, would you please contact the police.

“I’m relying on someone to be able to give information as to his whereabouts or if David is listening, would he please, please get in touch.”

David is white, aged 48, around five feet seven inches tall, of a slim build, with very short dark receding hair. He was clean shaven and possibly wearing a blue anorak, a dark blue suit with a blue shirt and red and blue tie when he was last seen.

Anyone who saw David or had any form of contact with him after 12.30am on Saturday, 18 December 2010, should call police immediately.
