Officers in Bournemouth investigating a report of a sexual offence at a supermarket in the town have released a CCTV image of a man that they would like to speak with.
The incident, in which a man used an iPad on a display stand to take photographs as he indecently exposed himself, happened at around 10.15am on Tuesday 14 August 2012 in Sainsbury's at the Castlepoint Shopping Centre.
A complaint was made to the store by a concerned member of the public who had seen the images on the iPad.
Inspector Mike Claxton, of Bournemouth police, said:
"This has left a member of the public and their family deeply shocked by what they saw, and we are taking this incident very seriously.
"This happened at about 10.15am on a weekday in a busy supermarket, so I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a man acting suspiciously near the electrical aisle of the store.
"In particular I would like to speak to the man in the picture who I believe can help us with our investigation.
"I urge anyone who recognises this man, or has any information about the incident, to call Dorset Police urgently on 101 in strict confidence."
