Julia's House Open New Shop In Weymouth

Dorset's childrens hospice opened a new charity store in Weymouth and now need new volunteers to work there.

It opened in St. Mary's Street on Saturday 6th October.

Julia's House said:

"We had a temporary store in town for the Olympics but now we've got a permanent base on St Mary Street. We're looking for donations and also need some more volunteers to work in the shop."

The shop will accept donations of things like:

-second-hand toys
-clothes
-books
-games
-ornaments

St. Mary's Street in Weymouth

Please be aware that they CANNOT accept the following items for hygiene, safety or legal reasons:

-Gas Appliances
-Crash helmets
-Cosmetics, unless brand-new and sealed
-Earrings for pierced ears
-Second hand children’s shoes
-Child safety gates
-Alcohol
-Poisonous, toxic or hazardous substances
-New and second-hand toys without the CE mark
