Attack Outside Bournemouth Pub

A man's recovering from a broken jaw after being attacked and robbed at a taxi rank in Bournemouth town centre.

The 27-year-old was beaten up opposite the Moon in the Square pub early on Tuesday (Nov 16th between 2am and 2.30am).

The victim, from Poole needed surgery for his injuries.

Around £100 was also taken from his jacket pocket.

Detective Constable Vanessa Moyle, of Bournemouth CID, said:

“The victim left Kukui on Richmond Hill and made his way across the Square to get a taxi home.

“He is white, about six feet one inch tall, of a thick set build and with short mousey brown hair.

“He was wearing a black jacket, with a hood, white T-shirt with a pattern of chains on the front, blue jeans and black trainers.

“I understand that he was with a friend as he left Kukui, but they became separated.”

 

No description of the offenders is available.

DC Moyle continued:

 “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this violent attack, and anyone with information about those responsible, to contact me as soon as possible.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw the victim in the town centre during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

“Any information may help me with my investigation.”
