A man has been charged with stealing more than £54,000 from an elderly woman in Portsmouth.
Graham Mark Spicer is accused of stealing the money from a 96-year-old woman from Drayton between February and May 2009.
It's claimed the 37-year-old, of Shelford Road, Southsea, obtained a Power of Attorney over her finances.
He was arrested in December following enquiries by detectives in Portsmouth’s Public Protection Investigation team.
Spicer appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on October 22 and was bailed to re-appear on December 17.
