An e-fit of a man's been released after he approached two young school girls and showed one of them an adult film on his mobile phone.

It happened on Saturday 28th August (7.50pm) along Ashley road in Poole, but Police have only just released the image.

Officers say the two girls, aged 12 and 13, were sitting on a ledge to the rear of St John’s Church when they were approached by a man.

The 12-year-old walked away, but the man held his mobile phone close to the 13 year olds face and showed her the video.

She told him she’d call the police if he didn’t leave and the man then walked away.

Police Constable Karen Douglas, of Bournemouth and Poole police, said:

“Following further enquiries, I am now able to release an e-fit of the man responsible for this upsetting incident.

“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact Dorset Police as soon as possible.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, and anyone with information about the man responsible, urgently.”

The offender is white, aged in his late thirties or early forties, of an average build, with short hair, and wrinkles on his forehead. He was wearing a dark green T-shirt and cargo shorts.

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 01202 222 222 or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
