Man's Eye Socket Broken in Weymouth Attack

A man's recovering after being attacked outside a bar in Weymouth.

 It happened at around 4am on Saturday 13 July 2013 near the entrance of The Weymouth Bar on The Esplanade.

The victim, a 30-year-old Weymouth man, was pushed to the floor and kicked in the head suffering a broken eye socket.

Detective Constable Simon Beare, of Weymouth CID, said:

"The victim has suffered some nasty injuries in this incident which required hospital treatment.

"The assault occurred on The Esplanade in the early hours of Saturday morning where there are many pubs and clubs, and I believe there may be witnesses.

"I am keen to speak with anyone who may have seen this attack take place or has information about those involved"

No arrests have been made.
