Police in Dorset are becoming increasingly concerned for a 31-year-old woman who has been missing from her Bournemouth home for the last two weeks.

Jacqueline Langmead, of St Clements Gardens in Boscombe, was last seen at around 9am on Monday, 19 July 2010.

Officers think she might be in the Bristol area.

Police Constable Kath MacHardy, of Bournemouth police, said: “Jackie was reported as missing last Friday, 30 July, after she had missed the second of two private appointments.

“She's never missed one of these appointments before and her friends and family have not heard from her since.

“As two weeks have now passed, and this is very unusual behaviour for Jackie, we are becoming increasing concerned for her welfare.”

Jackie is white, four feet four inches tall, of a slim build, with long dark brown hair.

It is not known what she was wearing, or what she took with her when she went missing.

Many friends know her as ‘Little Jackie’.

PC MacHardy continued: “We are releasing a picture of Jackie in the hope that anyone who sees her will recognise her as missing and call the police straight away.

“I understand that while she may still be in the Bournemouth area, we have also received information that she may be in the Bristol area.

“I am appealing to anyone who has any information about Jackie's whereabouts to contact Dorset Police in confidence.

“Any information could help us to trace her in order to make sure that she is safe and well.”

Anyone with any information or knowledge as to Jackie’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 01202 222 222.
