A soldier's expected to enter a plea later - over the murder of a mum of two in Bournemouth.
26-year-old Natasha Wake's body was found at a house in Harley Gardens in Boscombe on Sunday 2 October.
Jay Nava, who's also 26 and from Plymouth in Devon, is charged with her murder.
A post-mortem examination found that Natasha died from multiple stab wounds.
Police said the victim and Jay Nava were known to each other.
An Army spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a serving soldier appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday 5 October, charged with murder.
“It would be inappropriate to comment further and we are not prepared to release any further personal information about this individual.”
Jay Nava is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court today.
