Police In Blandford Investigating Burglaries

Officers in Blandford are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a multiple burglaries at a location just outside Winterbourne Kingston.

The burglaries occurred overnight between the 10pm on Sunday 13 May 2012 and 8am on Monday 14 May 2012 at North West Farm.

Police Constable Daniel Rowan, of Blandford Police said:

"Thieves broke into several buildings on the farm site.

"They stole about a £1000 worth of power tools,including a green Honda generator, a Stihl chainsaw and a Bosch drill.

"A rare sports car was also stolen which was recovered in a nearby village.

"I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident or has any information which will help the investigation."
