Police Investigate After Death Of Poole Man

Officers in Bournemouth are issuing an appeal for anyone with information to come forward after the death of an elderly man from natural causes in Poole on 7 December 2011.

Dorset Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the 93-year-old man, who was found at his home address in Laidlaw Close, Poole on the morning of Wednesday, 7 December 2011.
 
Detective Inspector Stewart Balmer, Senior Investigating Officer, said: “While the cause of death is not in question, we are keen to ensure that there are no criminal acts linked to this incident.
 
“As such, we have commenced an examination and established a cordon at the scene.
 
“I would like to hear from anyone who has any information which may assist the police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death or who saw anything suspicious in the area prior to 7 December.
 
“All information will be treated in strictest confidence.”
 
Next of kin have been informed.
