Police Looking For Vandals In Redhill
Officers in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after two acts of criminal damage at homes in the Redhill area of the town.
The first incident occurred between 7pm on Saturday 22 September 2012 and 4.10am on Sunday 23 September 2012 outside a house on Redhill Drive.
A wing mirror attached to a blue Ford Focus was smashed.
The vehicle is registered to a 42-year-old man from Bournemouth.
The second incident occurred at a house on Redhill Close, sometime between 6pm and 4.40am on the same dates.
A wooden garden fence belonging to a 62-year-old Bournemouth man was damaged.
Police Sergeant Andy Edwards, of Bournemouth police, said:
“This is mindless vandalism and it has a big impact on the victims and the wider community.
“We will investigate every lead to catch the offenders.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed these incidents or any unusual activity in the area during the weekend, and anyone with any information about those responsible, to contact police in confidence as soon as possible.”
