Police Trying To Find This Girl

Police in Bournemouth are asking for help in identifying and tracing a teenage girl, who might know something about an assault and theft in the town centre.

The incident happened in the Best One Convenience Store on Poole Hill on Saturday, 22 January 2011 at around 5.45pm in which a member of staff was assaulted and various items were stolen from the shop.

Officers are now able to release a closed circuit television (CCTV) image – showing a teenage girl officers are keen to talk to.

Police Constable Gary Waterman, of Bournemouth police, said:

"The member of staff had asked a group to leave the shop due to their behaviour when he was verbally and physically assaulted.

“The victim did not suffer any injuries.

“It was later discovered that a number of items had been stolen from the shop.

"I would urge the girl pictured – and anyone who recognises her – to contact me, in confidence, as soon as possible.”
