Teenager Robbed On His Bike

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed while he cycled in the Poole.

It happened at 2.40am on Monday 8 October 2012 on Penn Hill Avenue near the junction with St. Osmund’s Road.

The victim, a 19-year-old man from Poole, was pushed over by three hooded men who ran off with his bike (a black Specialized Hardrock mountain bike with silver front suspension forks).

He wasn't hurt.

Police Constable Paul Mellor, of Poole police, said: “This was a callous attack on a young man as he cycled.

“The three suspects were all wearing hooded tops with the hoods up.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this attack, or may have information about the offenders to contact Dorset Police in confidence at the earliest opportunity.”
