Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an alleged assault in the Moordown area of the town.

The incident, in which a man and a woman were reported to have been assaulted by another man, happened on Malvern Road on the corner of Nursery Road around 9pm on Sunday 15 July 2012.

One of the victims, a 45-year-old Bournemouth woman, sustained facial injuries and a broken finger.
