Woman Dies In Hospital After Poole Crash

An elderly woman has died in hospital, after a crash in Poole.

At 1.10pm on Wednesday 23 July 2014 emergency services were called to attend a single vehicle collision on Lower Blandford Road in the Broadstone area, at the junction with Barn Road.

A red Honda Civic being driven by a local woman had collided with the central reservation. Fire brigade and paramedics removed her from the vehicle.

She was taken to Poole Hospital where she later died. Her next of kin have been informed.

Dorset Police’s Traffic Unit are investigating the collision and are keen to speak to any witnesses who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision.
