Police Await Test Results After Woman's Death

Police are awaiting the results of toxicology tests after the body of a 46-year-old woman was found by an ambulance crew Poole on Thursday 23 December 2010.

Police were called to a bungalow in Curtis Road after the discovery at around 10.25am, and the address was sealed off for a full crime scene and forensic investigation.

The death is being treated as unexplained, and after a post mortem was inconclusive, police are now waiting for the results of toxicology tests. They are not expected until early January.

A 28-year-old man from Poole who was arrested has since been bailed.

The investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman's death is being led by Bournemouth's Major Crime Investigation Team.
