Attempted Murder Of Father And Son

Police investigating the stabbing of two men in Luton are keen to speak to a woman who helped one of the victims.

The father and son were stabbed in their family home in Dumfries Street on Tuesday night after three masked men knocked at the door and forced their way in. 

The men a 33 year old and a 60 year old, had been at home with their wives and a young child when the trio carried out the attack.

The younger man was violently assaulted and stabbed several times and the older man was also stabbed.

A woman with an NHS badge pinned to her tended to one of the injured men and left when paramedics arrived. 

Police are keen to speak to her as they believe she might have more information about what happened.

The attackers left in a white Transit style van.
