Police investigating the shooting of a teenager in Luton have released CCTV footage of a person they would like to speak to.

The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday May 11th in Thricknells Close in Marsh Farm.

The man was seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting.

He's described as white, in his mid-teen and was wearing a blue top and blue denim jeans.

The 16 year old victim is still in hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.

Police think the man on the CCTV could have information that could help the investigation and police need to speak to him urgently.

Armed officers, members of the Dog Unit along with members of the local policing team in Marsh Farm and Lewsey Farm are continuing to patrol the area.

A £1,000 reward is available for anyone who gives the police information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any offender who is involved in gun crime in the town.

This is the 9th shooting in the town this year.
