BEDFORDSHIRE Police have released CCTV footage of four people that they would like to speak with in connection to a serious assault in which a 40 year-old man was knocked unconscious.

It happened at around 4.45am on Friday 27th April when the victim was attacked by two men and two women outside of the Galaxy Centre in Bridge Street, Luton.

During the assault the man was knocked unconscious, had three teeth knocked out, suffered a cracked jaw which required an operation and now has to wear glasses after suffering retina damage.

CCTV has been release of the people police would like to speak to (above and below)

Galaxy Centre, Luton

The man was left in the street after the assault and only received help when a member of the public called an ambulance.

DC Layton, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the attack or may recognise any of the people in the images and told Heart: "This was a very horrendous assault on a man who had been enjoying a night out in Luton only to be set upon by a vicious group of individuals. He has suffered some terrible injuries and feels afraid to go out on his own anymore.

I am appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the assault to come forward. Any information however small or insignificant you may think it is could really help with our enquiries.
