Officers are releasing an image of three people they would like to speak to in connection with a theft which took place in Stevenage last month.
The incident occurred between 1.30pm and 4pm on Friday, April 8.
A woman entered Halifax in Stevenage town centre and used the cash machine when a man watched her enter her pin. She was then followed into Next where her purse was stolen from her bag whilst in the store.
It is believed her card was used to spend £1,000 in Argos, Stevenage later that day.
Officers would like to speak with the man and two women pictured in relation to the incident. It may be that they witnessed the crime or can offer assistance in the investigation.
