A 14 year old boy from Luton has not been since for a month after going missing from a care home in Northamton.

Matthew Woodbridge is in the care of Social Services and disappeared on July 24.

He is described as a 14 year old white boy, with a large build, blond short hair, pale complexion and blue eyes.

Matthew was last seen wearing a grey round neck t shirt, black jogging bottoms, a black waterproof jacket with thin white lines on it and black Nike training shoes.

PC Darran Walker, investigating Matthew's whereabouts, is keen to speak to anyone in the Luton area who may have seen Matthew.

He said: "It is possible that Matthew is staying with family or friends in the Luton area and these people may not be aware that any person allowing him to reside in there care is committing an offence of Harbouring a Child that is an arrestable offence for which they could face a term of imprisonment.

"I would urge anyone who has seen or has any information about Matthew's whereabouts to come forward and speak to the police so we can make sure he is safe and well."

Anyone with information about Matthew can contact PC Darran Walker at Bedfordshire Police Missing Persons Unit, in confidence, on 01234 841212, or text information to 07786 200011.
