Shoppers May Have Seen Assault

Bedfordshire Police are trying to work out how a 22-year-old man ended up with two large cuts on the back of his head.
The assault happened at around 4.40pm in the Asda car park in Court Drive, Dunstable on Wednesday, 30 March.
The victim was taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital but, after being treated and discharged, has decided not to give a statement to police.
DS Terry Davis, of the Dunstable based Serious Crime Investigation Team, said:
"This man has suffered some extremely nasty injuries and we are keen to establish what happened to him, who was involved and why.
"If anyone saw the incident, or the offenders leaving the area, we would urge them to contact us as soon as possible. We would stress all information will be treated in confidence."
DS Davis thinks people who may have seen something include shoppers at Asda or people visiting the Quadrant shopping area.
