Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an 18-year- old woman was grabbed by a man on Friday (March 18th) in Caddington.
The incident happened as the victim was walking in Mancroft Road at approximately 3.15am. A man approached the victim and touched her inappropriately, whilst grabbing her wrists. Her friend arrived and helped her to run away and call for police assistance.
The offender is described as a white man, aged between 25 to 30 years, 5’9” tall with short dark hair. He was wearing a light top and dark jeans.
Vicky Gibson, investigating, said the victim contacted the police immediately to report this incident and has been left shaken by what happened to her.
She said: "I am keen to speak with any members of the public who were in the area and saw a man matching this description. I would ask them to contact the police, in complete confidence."
