Elderly Woman Seriously Injured In Suffolk Crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision that took place at Barningham.

It happened on the B1111 Stanton Road at about 9.50am on Sunday 29 July.
The incident involved three vehicles a blue Ford Fiesta  and a black VW Golf travelling towards Stanton from Barningham and a third vehicle, another black VW Golf that was travelling in the opposite direction. The Fiesta was in collision with vehicle three, the VW Golf. The two VW Golfs were also in collision with each other.
The female driver, aged in her 70s, of vehicle two, the black VW Golf, sustained a broken chest bone and broken leg, while the driver of the third vehicle sustained swelling to his right hand and wrists and cuts and bruises. The driver of the blue fFrd Fiesta sustained leg and shoulder pain.
