The police watchdog says it's investigating expense claims made by Norfolk's Police and Crime Commissioner.

Claims made by Stephen Bett are now being investigated by The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

The inquiry, which is to be carried out by officers from City of London Police under the direction and control of the IPCC, will look at whether claims for expenses made by Mr Bett between November 15 2012 and October 31 2013 were correct.

A complaint about the claims was first sent by Norfolk's police and crime panel to the IPCC last December.
