Kirby Cane Crash Leaves Man Badly Hurt

A driver has been left badly injured after a crash east of Bungay at Kirby Cane overnight.

It happened on the Loddon Road when a Grey Peugeot 307 careered off the road & crashed into a tree.

The driver, a man in his 40s, has been left in a life threatening condition.

Norfolk Police say:

"Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Kirby Cane, south of Loddon.

It happened just after midnight this morning, Saturday 6 October 2018, on Loddon Road when a Grey Peugeot 307 has left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver of the Peugeot – a man in his 40s - was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with life threatening injuries where he remains.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving before the collision.
