Man Detained In Norwich

A man's been detained under the Mental Health Act after police were called to a car park in Norwich to reports of a person in distress.

Officers and other members of the emergency services attended at around 7pm last night (10th June) after receiving calls from members of the public that a man was in distress at St Andrew's Car Park.

Following negotiations with specially trained officers which lasted approximately 30 minutes, the incident concluded.
