Man Jailed For £20,000 Robbery

A man who stole money from the bank where he worked has been sentenced to 15 months in prison.

He withdrew cash or transferred funds straight into his own bank account.

The sentence reflects the seriousness of the crime and let’s other potential offenders know that Norfolk Constabulary will deal robustly with people in similar situations.'

A spokesperson from Santander added: 'Santander has cooperated thoroughly throughout the whole investigation and both customers have had the missing funds fully reinstated.'
