A man's been rescued from a flat in Ipswich after a wheelie bin was set alight and "pushed against the front door".
Emergency services, including three fire crews, were called to Hadleigh Road at around 11:45pm last night (11th June).
A police spokesperson said a taxi driver had dialed 999 after he saw a man inside the property "screaming for help".
The man was the only person in the property and fire crews put the blaze out within half an hour.
Police are treating it as arson and are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to dial 101.
