As the General Election fast approaches, Heart’s been speaking to the Waveney candidates about what they will do if they're elected next month.
Standing in May 7th's election is Peter Aldous form the Conservative Party, Bob Blizzard from Labour, Steven Gordon from the Lib Dems, UKIP candidate Simon Tobin and Graham Elliott from the Green Party.
We asked them the following questions:
Education in Suffolk as a whole is a very topical issue. What will you do to tackle schools that are under performing in Waveney?
Unemployment has fallen over the last few years in Waveney, but for the last three months it has gone up. What will you do to ensure more people find work?
What do you want surrounding ideas for the third river crossing? How do you propose to get it and by when?
What are your plans for boosting or maintaining tourism and the benefits it brings to the economy?
With big improvements promised for the Great Eastern Mainline, what will you do to ensure this branches out to Lowestoft and the surrounding areas?
