A motorcyclist has died in a crash in Great Barton.
Officers were called to the A143 at 11.50am yesterday morning, Sunday 7 June, to reports of a collision between a Range Rover and a motorcycle.
The air ambulance was called for assistance, but the rider of the motorcycle died at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours for collision investigation teams. Police would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have seen a motorbike riding in the area shortly before hand.
Officers would like to speak with the driver of a blue Vauxhall, thought to be a Corsa, who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
It is believed that this car may have been overtaken by the motorbike prior to the collision.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who believes they may have seen any of the vehicles prior to it, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting reference CAD 182 of 7/6.
