A man's been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in Norwich.
Officers were called to Southalls Way at 10.40pm yesterday, following reports a woman, aged in her 20s, had died.
After an initial investigation detectives launched a murder enquiry.
A man in his 20s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of the murder and is currently being held in custody awaiting questioning.
Detective Chief Inspector Pete Hornby, investigating officer, said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation and working to establish the sequence of events which led to this woman's death.
I would be very keen to hear from anyone who may have any further information that could assist with these enquiries, whether it concerns events leading up to the woman’s death or the incident itself.”
A seal remains in place at the property for forensic examinations to continue by crime scene investigators.
