A 16 year old girl arrested in connection with a stabbing in Norwich on Wednesday has been released.

It comes after two men suffered stab wounds during a disturbance near the railway station at about 3.20pm. Both remain in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Later that evening a teenager was arrested on suspicion of assault and was questioned by detectives. She’s now been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detectives believe the altercation started in Hollywood Bowl prior to the group walking along Riverside towards the railway station where the incident happened.

Officers are still keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident outside the railway station or noticed people involved in a disturbance in Riverside prior to this.
