The Prime Minister's exclusively told Heart the government will do everything it can to ensure a fair trial into the murder of Hemsby student Hannah Witheridge.
The body of Hannah and her friend David Miller were found on a beach on the Island of Koh Toa in Thailand last September.
Two men currently on trial for their murders both made confessions, but then later retracted the statements, amid claims they had been beaten into making them.
David Cameron's told us the government's committed to ensuring justice is done.
He said: "We will continue to do everything we can to help in this tragic case.
"I did intervene to make sure that British Police were able to go out and play a role in talking to the Thai Police about this case.
"I raised it personally with the Thai Prime Minister when I met with them at a summit.
"Obviously now what we want is a fair trial done in the proper way, and we'll do everything we can to help encourage the Thais to ensure that happens."
