Police Cordon Still In Place In Great Yarmouth

Detectives are continuing to investigate the murder of a man in Great Yarmouth.

Officers were called to a property on South Market Road at 10.20pm on Wednesday (8 November 2018) following reports a man had been stabbed.
 
The man in his 50s had sustained serious injuries and was taken to James Paget Hospital where he died.
 
Two people were arrested in connection with the incident; a man in his 60s remains in police custody, while a woman in her 50s has been questioned and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
 
A Home Office post mortem is being carried out this afternoon and a police cordon remains in place at the address.
