Detectives investigating a murder in Great Yarmouth have been given more time to question a man arrested in connection with what happened.
Officers were called to a property on South Market Road at 10.20pm last Wednesday (7th Nov 2018) following reports a man had been stabbed.
The man in his 50s had sustained serious injuries and was taken to James Paget Hospital where he died.
This morning, a warrant of further detention was granted at Norwich Magistrates Court, giving officers an additional 24 hours to question the suspect, a man in his 60s.
A Home Office post mortem, carried out on Friday, established the victim died as a result of a single stab wound.
The property remains sealed off.
