Prisoner Awol Across Norfolk & Suffolk

Suffolk Police are appealing for help from the public to trace a 26 year-old man who is wanted after a series of burglaries.
Billy Swaley Smith, who is already wanted in Norfolk on recall to prison having breached the terms of his licence following a conviction for burglary offences, is now wanted by Suffolk Police in connection with burglaries which have taken place in the Ipswich, Babergh and Suffolk Coastal areas.
Billy Smith who has lived on the West Meadows Travellers’ site in Sproughton (close to Ipswich), is known to regularly travel to neighbouring counties including Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Smith is described as white, around 5’8’’ tall with brown hair and bushy eyebrows, he has green eyes and scars on the top of his fingers on his right hand.
Smith (pictured) shows him being clean shaven but it is thought that he may currently have a beard or facial hair.
Police are keen to hear from anyone with any information about Mr Smith’s whereabouts and ask that they contact officers as soon as possible.
Members of the public are also asked to report any suspicious activity linked to crime.
