Ronan tipped for glory

12-year-old Ronan Parke has been tipped to win Britain's Got Talent - despite admitting he was shaking with fear.

Ronan from Poringland, Norwich, has been made the 5-2 favourite by bookmakers after his emotional performance had the audience and judges alike on their feet.

Michael McIntyre told the 12 year-old: “You said you took a day off school, I wouldn’t bother going back. You're a little star.”

His version of 'Feelin Good' by Nina Simone has led fans to label him the new Justin Bieber, despite admitting that he was petrified.

“I was really nervous but happy I’d got to that stage. Excitement then took over my nerves. When I looked at the audience I didn’t realise how many people there would be and that was a bit scary.”

Fellow judge Louis Walsh said: “Ronan, I’m going to predict really big things for you.” He added: “Ronan Parke - remember that name. This kid is going to be a star.”
